Microfiber Cleaning



EASY  TO  CLEAN

Microfiber is easy to clean.  To keep it looking its very best and for everyday stain removal, follow the simple instructions below.

Spirits and liqueurs: Shampoo with neutral soap and water then dab with diluted methylated spirits (10-20%) Cosmetics:  Most stains can be removed by shampooing with neutral soap and water.  For persistent stains, use diluted ammonia (5%).  Never use acetone or other nail polish removers. 
Soft drinks, wine: Dab with water and vinegar (50%) then shampoo with neutral soap and water. Grass, vegetables:  Dab with warm water (30°C) then shampoo with neutral soap and water. 
Beer: Dab with a warm solution (30°C) of water and denatured alcohol (3%)  Ink: Remove as much ink as possible using blotting paper, dab with 20% methylated spirits and shampoo with soap and water.  Lemon juice can also be used to remove some stains. 
Coffee, tea, milk: Shampoo with neutral soap and water.  If the stain persists, dab with diluted ammonia (10%)  Shoe polish:  Dab with oil of turpentine (available from hardware stores). 
Chocolate, sweets: Dab with a weak solution of warm water (30°C) and ammonia (5%)  Jam, syrup, fruit juices:   Dab with warm water (30°C). 

Prompt intervention is advisable as soon as the fabric has been stained.  The longer the stain remains on the fabric, the harder it is to remove it.  However, in the case of unusual or difficult stains, expert advice should be sought.
